Our aquarium shop is aimed at the beginner and intermediate hobbyist. We at Bunarong Aquarium have always prided ourselves on giving the highest level of service, so if you are happy about our service tell someone, if you are not , tell us, and we will strive to do better.

Fancy Goldfish

Fancy goldfish should housed in aquariums no smaller than approx 100ltr. Even in this size tank most will quickly out grow the tank.

Fancy goldfish should never be kept in goldfish bowls. The aquarium needs to be well filtered since fancy goldfish produce large amount of waste, a suitable filter is about 10 times the aquarium volume an hour.

They also require high oxygen levels in the water. Fancy goldfish dig a lot so under gravel filters are not really suited..

Feeding outdoor ponds

Try and feed floating food to the fish in your pond. That way you can see what they eat. If you feed too much you can simply scoop out the food before it breaks down.

Colwater Fish

Coldwater species are bright, colourful and amazing fish to own. There are so many varieties available to choose from. At Bunarong Aquarium we carry a large range of Goldfish from common pond commets through to the amazing Bubble eyes and Orandas. Other cold water varieties also available in store are bitterlings, Murray Cod and Danios plus many more species.

Our experienced staff can advise you on which species are best kept together along with the required aquariums and hardware.
